Channel Islands says lack of weather forecasts costs millions in lost tourist cash The BBC and the Met Office are today urged to bring an end to “forecast discrimination” by putting Jersey on the national weather map. The island’s tourism authority claims that Jersey and its neighbouring Channel Islands are missing out on millions of pounds of revenue from prospective visitors.
